Henry Handel Richardson letters and papers, 1929-1946.

The collection consists of seven items: three letters; a signed manuscript copy of the story And women must weep, with pencil corrections; signed copy of the same story published in the U.S. as The grown-up ball; postcard with her photograph and signature; copy of an article by Bruce Sutherland published in New York herald tribune book review. Includes a letter to Brandt & Brandt, 7 Dec. 1929, asking about several stories she had submitted for publication; and two letters to American collector Paul Lemperly, responding to questions in letters he had sent.
